Most people without work in Laikipia East are young. The loans and funds meant to help them are hard to reach — too much paperwork, too many rules. TX will use CDF money to create real ways for young people to earn, not loans that never get to them.

• A training centre in every ward, teaching young people how to start a business and manage money
• Help for boda boda riders to form their own SACCOs, so they can save, borrow, and grow instead of just surviving day to day
• CDF-funded cooperatives — like tomato processing and milk cooling plants — so farmers in Tigithi, Ngobit and Umande earn more from what they grow instead of selling it cheap

Most people in Laikipia East say they've never been asked before a CDF project was built near them — and most aren't happy with the result. For too long, bursaries and development money have gone to those with connections, not those with real need.

• A public online page where anyone can check every CDF project and every bursary — where the money went and what it built
• Bursaries decided in open community barazas, not behind closed doors
• No CDF project gets funded unless the village itself agrees it's needed

Nanyuki Referral Hospital serves patients from 15 counties — but its maternity theatre doesn't work, and there aren't enough doctors for operations, children, or cancer care. Families in Ngobit, Umande and Thingithu have almost nowhere else to turn.

• Push Parliament to release national health funding to fix Nanyuki Hospital's maternity theatre and cancer clinic
• Use CDF money to build and equip small health clinics in Ngobit, Umande and Thingithu, so people don't all have to travel to Nanyuki
• Push for more doctors and specialists, so mothers, surgery patients and cancer patients don't have to travel all the way to Nairobi

The Likii River — where Thingithu and Nanyuki get their water — is badly polluted. Tests show poison from farms upstream and raw sewage from the settlements it passes through. Many families still have no choice but to drink it.

• Push NEMA and the water authority to actually punish farms that pollute the river upstream
• Build proper toilets in Likii and Majengo, paid for by CDF, so sewage stops being dumped into the river
• Support community dams and cheaper rain-water tanks for homes, so families stop fighting over water

Justice here means three things: title deeds for families in Likii A, Likii B and Majengo who've lived for years with no paper for their own land; fast payment for farmers whose crops are destroyed by wildlife from nearby conservancies; and real accountability from the British army base — without losing the jobs and business it brings to Nanyuki.

• Push the Ministry of Lands to survey Likii A, Likii B and Majengo and give families proper title documents
• Change the law so KWS must pay farmers for crops destroyed by wildlife within 90 days — not years
• Keep the jobs the British army base brings, but demand real rules: DNA tests and support for children they father, fair payment for damage they cause, and full cooperation with Kenyan courts when soldiers break the law
